Sylvia Folmer Duncan is a distinguished figure in commercial real estate, known for her strategic expertise, extensive market knowledge, and proven success in site selection, leasing, and development. As the founder of Folmer Commercial Group and an Associate Broker at RJL Real Estate Consultants, Sylvia brings over a decade of experience representing national and regional brands and shaping the commercial landscape of El Paso and the greater Southwest region.
A member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Sylvia specializes in tenant and landlord representation, investment sales, healthcare real estate, and market development strategy. Her current client portfolio includes renowned names such as Starbucks, Tropical Smoothie Café, Marco’s Pizza, and Dairy Queen. She is recognized for her strong negotiation skills, hands-on approach, and ability to identify high-value real estate opportunities that drive long-term success for her clients.
Sylvia received her Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Communication from Texas Christian University in 2010. She began her career in the University of Oklahoma’s Athletic Department before returning to her hometown of El Paso in 2013 to pursue commercial real estate. After launching her career with TVO, she joined RJL Real Estate Consultants in 2014 and has continued to expand her presence and impact in the industry ever since.
Deeply rooted in the El Paso community, Sylvia also serves on the board of the Junior League of El Paso. She lives in El Paso with her husband and their two children, continuing to balance her passion for real estate with her commitment to local growth and community involvement.
